Charles P. Foster Foundation
The Charles P. Foster
Foundation (CPFF), was created to
honor Charles P. Foster's legacy. CPFF is an independent nonprofit
organization that has been changing families in the community one
father at a time.
The overall goal is to assist African American youth, their parents and
family members in leading meaningful, positive, successful lives, thus
becoming productive citizens of society. This goal will be achieved

to achieve this goal will be Youth Economic Viability, In Tandem and
Project Reconnect/Stop the Cycle programs of CPFF.
The Youth Economic Viability Program will aid in facilitating the
transition of highly at-risk youth into productive, responsible, and
economically viable citizens. The Youth Economic Viability Program will
implement the Family Connections project, a culturally unified family
literacy program in which youth, parents, educators, and community
members will be viewed as valued collaborative partners.
Project Reconnect Stop The Cycle is a family restoration program, which
focuses on low- income and incarcerated fathers. It is the goal of
project reconnect to facilitate the restoration of the family unit
through programs designed to provide education, intensive job training,
counseling, parenting education and skilled professional employment at
a living wage level, and break the cycle of fatherless children
begetting fatherless children.
In order to achieve this goal, Project Reconnect Stop The Cycle will implement the Fostering Fatherhood Project.
In Tandem is a self-sustaining, replicable model engaging capable adult
individuals, faith, business and community partners in the
all-important work of affecting the minds, dreams and life outcomes of
